Administrative Assistant - 1 year Contract

Windsor Mold is actively recruiting for a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join the team starting December 2019 for a 1 year contract. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Receive all visitors and telephone calls, directly assisting people when appropriate and referring to others when necessary
  • Manage and distribute information within the office
  • Assist in planning, pricing and coordinating events (luncheons, HR events, travel, conferences)
  • Bookkeeping duties with emphasis on value add financial reporting
  • Assist with HR functions as they arise (payroll, training, claims)
  • Assisting in preparing presentations, posters, and other documents as required
  • Provide outstanding general administrative support to both internal employees and external customers
  • Assist with accounts payable function (matching/filing/payments to vendors)
  • Opening jobs and phases in Epicor ERP
  • Prepare expense reports for approval and processing for the Program Management team
  • Compile data and prepare KPIs on a monthly basis
  • Internally processing purchase orders received from customers
  • Other duties that may be appropriately assigned
  • Ensuring the kitchen is stocked with items for customers
  • Ensure timely processing of safety shoes and safety glasses as per the established reimbursement process
  • Maintaining and administering petty cash

Education/Qualifications
  • College business degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Suites
  • Ability to work well with all levels of internal management
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • High standard of professionalism and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and excellent time management skills
  • Awareness of sensitivity required around confidential materials
  • Ability to take ownership and accountability for one's work
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision as well as in a team
  • Knowledge of accounting systems an asset
