Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generate and qualify sales leads through existing relationships and the development of new relationships
  • Develop and implement action plans and strategies that are in line with our company’s short term and long term business development strategy
  • Actively and aggressively pursue new business development opportunities through travel to customer sites and sales calls to new potential clients
  • Monitor, analyze and communicate sales data to contribute to sales and capacity planning.
  • Work closely with our project management team to learn the history of our product lines / technologies and to understand our engineering and manufacturing capabilities to be able to confidently represent our company
  • Coordinate quoting activities between project management and new customers including management of the customer RFQ process
  • Coordinate engineering and technical interaction between customer and plant when required
  • Maintain close customer contact with developed customer clientele to understand their business structure and technology needs to ensure we are on the leading edge of new business opportunities
  • Remain engaged on newly awarded business to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide leadership, direction and support for customer specifications and requirements to drive a model of customer service excellence
  • Communicate openly, honestly and constructively with customers and internal stakeholders effectively being the Voice of the Customer within the organization
  • Participate and lead continuous improvement initiatives in the sales department along with other performance improvement observations you recognize across other functional groups

Education/Qualifications
  • Extensive experience within the automotive plastic injection mold industry
  • 5+ years’ experience in Engineering or Program Management is preferred
  • Exceptional attendance, attitude and accountability
  • Charismatic, personable, passionate and driven
  • Excel in being a self-motivated and goal orientated and data-driven
  • Extremely focused, organized and detailed oriented
  • Experience in developing new business and marketing for prospects
  • Experience in implementing new business with tooling, quality control and production
  • Experience in managing customer satisfaction
